4 Mile DVD

I really enjoy doing the Leslie Sansone walk videos, I have the set, and I am doing the 4 mile now. She says because of the different steps in the video it will help your body to not be stuck in plateau mode and you will lose weight cont. I am testing her knowledge. I make sure to do her about twice a week, along with the treadmill, walking outside and the 60 min swimming laps.
But I will have to do something else when I get home, so I started a week I now do 2 different aerobic machines at the gym to see how it will work. I am surprised how I do the bike it is going well. So when I get home I am getting my bike on the road, I will have to get a helmet and knee pads, but it will be something new to do. I also do the elliptic but I am just learning this, I et a little afraid of it, My legs seem to turn to mush and get rubbery when I try it,m so I get up to 15 min. and have to get off. It works more calories and I have learned these small work outs are just as affective. Until I can work up to perhaps 30 min to 45 doing it. I have no idea if the small town I live in has this machine. So I will have to wait and see what can do.
Just letting you know my thinking and plan. I do not want any surprises in this change so I am trying to allow for any differences that will be happening. My biggest loss will be the swimming. wish I could do it in the river but just not an option.
See I have tried to lose weight before and when changes occur in my life the exercise seems to be the one element I stop first. I do not want this to even enter my mind this time. I can make excuses for myself, this I know. I am getting closer to my goal so I am worrying about something to sabotage my efforts.
Saying this sounds stupid but I know from past experience that things do happen and so if I say it out loud now I will perhaps nip the problem in the bud. Does this sound familiar to anyone??
