Fell off this weekend

Monday, March 29, 2010

Well, Monday morning rolls around again, and it is a reminder of the weekend that shouldn't have been. at least in the healthy lifestyle department. I was actually doing well, fighting off those cravings, staying within my calorie count, working out regularly and for some reason, Friday evening got here and all the resolve left me. After a filling meal on Friday I should have been satisfied with an orange or something figure friendly, instead, I opted for nachos and a beer.

O.K. damage control comes in and I can get back on track Saturday, but I didn't. No work out, no self control for Saturday... in fact, I went for fast food a burger and fries and to justify washed it down with a diet soda. How laughable is that? Problem is of that burger and fried, over 900 calories of the prescribed 1200-1550 just went down the tubes.... and again out to dinner that night with friends and f course, drinks....

Sunday wasn't much better, only 30 minutes of cardio and strength combined but it was uninspired and almost lethargic in nature. Calorie intake was in range but the fat intake was over the top....

WOW! Talk about falling. OK Monday is here, pick myself back up and get back on track.

4 weeks to vacation, I would be happy with just 6 more pounds to that date.... any advice to staying on track? emoticon

I've been in this situation, as I'm sure so many have as well. Why do we do this? Hmmm, well there are plenty of reasons believe it. I found this information through the sparkpages which lead me to this site; watch the videos available, and look at some of the articles written, you may be surprised. ( Brian Wansink) is the author of this interesting book. Below is the address to it.
