Focus

Have you ever heard the saying "She has a one track mind." In my case its a good analogy. I tend to get very focused on one thing at a time. Which is wonderful if my focus is on my diet. This week however, my focus was not on my diet. My husband and I spent the week painting my little girl's room pink and our living room green. We went and saw a movie, looked at buying a new car (didn't get one), we were soooo busy.
I didn't go completely off and slip back into my old habits, but I did lose focus. I would not quite count my calories, or I would eat mindlessly, real butter, Reese's Peanut Butter eggs, which just so you know must be made by the devil himself . . . . Anyway you get the idea. So I went a little off the track.
Now what??
Am I going to quit? NO
Am I going to berate myself? NO
Am I going to say I will never, ever eat real butter ever again? Not without my nose growing like Pinocchio.
Am I going to boycott the makers of Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs? Maybe
Am I going to get back on track? Yup!
