Finally in the routine!

If you had told me a couple months ago that I would stop craving chicken strips and sweet tea I would have thought you were crazy! It hit me last night while I was at work that I haven't even thought about picking up a strip and I can't recall the last time I had a cup of tea. I've been working so hard at drinking enough water that I haven't even thought about drinking anything else! Except for a glass of V8 with my lunch, but that doesn't count against me. I get up every morning now and eat my bran cereal(and love it) and I don't see myself ever going back to whatever I was eating before. The first couple of weeks it was difficult to stay in my calorie range, but once I gave up the crap food I found it almost difficult to eat enough! I'm never hungry and my co-workers probably think I'm a piggy, because I have a snack every few hours, which is what I need to do. It still feels wrong though. I'm sure I'll get over that way of thinking soon enough though!
I'm so excited about the next couple of weeks! I'm nearly to my 5% goal. I just have 2 lbs to go and I know I can hit that in the next week or two! I'm hoping that if I take this 5% at a time I may be able to keep the spark and finally be a healthy weight!
