Stress is my biggest trigger to overeating.

I have come to relax that stress is my biggest trigger when I overeat. Whether it be from the kids fighting, our bills, or just everyday things that is when I tend to lean on food as my support. I have started in reading The Spark book and it has helped me realize how much I have been doing this and trying to start the change from leaning on the food to doing a 15 minuted workout to reduce the stress. So far this past week I have gotten in 150 minutes of cardio and some stretching along with it which is more than I have done in the past year since having my daughter back last June. I am refocusing and getting the priorities back in line and will achieve my goals. I write in a journal weekly especially when the stress levels rise and achieving the exercise as well.

    Yes, when the kids were little, stresses were high. But luckily my metabolism and the 18 cups of coffee kept me thin then. Now it is different. Still stress, less kids at home, but a least I can walk outside (or did before the hip break), and let the stress go that way. And I have blessed friends that I can call and Moan to...about this and that. And they are still there...amamzing...so with all the walking and drinking water, instead of turning to food, I have lost 75 pounds and keeping it off. You are doing the right. Thing. Keep it Up.

    Good for you on getting a handle on your stress eating and for exercising. I knew you could do it. Why? Because you are worth it! emoticon

    I hope everything de-stresses a bit for you! You're blog was motivational for me..I'm bad for overeating during stress as well...the exercising idea is fantastic!
