I decided to get up early and get it done and that is exactly what I did. All I had to eat beforehand was a quick handful of cereal and I felt it too. I usually don't do that but I wanted to get going. The wind was pretty stiff and once again it seems I am tackling hills with the wind in my face. Ack. It was a non-eventful run and I felt pretty steady throughout.

My plan for the week is my group run Tuesday for low mileage, another 4 mile run on Thursday and an LSD of about 6 miles Saturday. That makes for about 17 miles this week and with the lower mileage runs I feel I can safely stick another run in the week from 3 to 4. Don't worry, I listen to my body and if it doesn't like that 4th day, I will drop it pronto. That is my plan and I'm stickin to it.

    My training plan calls for a 4th day every so often; usually just 2 miles. See how they work out and evaluate as you said.

    Great splits! I'll be interested to hear how you like adding the 4th run. I played around with that, too, but decided that I seemed to do best with a full day of rest in between running day. So I increased the distance and/or speed of my short runs instead. After the OKC marathon at the end of the month, I'm considering trying out running twice on some of my run days to increase my running volume without sacrificing my rest days. I've seen that recommended. We'll see. It's always fun to try new things.

    Awesome! And I know what you mean about the wind - how is it that it's always a head wind? You run out, the wind is in your face. You run back, the wind is suddenly coming from the opposite direction and is Still in your face. How does that always happen???? LOL
