....KICKED MY BUTT. :)
Hubby and I started today. 1st day is push ups and pull ups. Instead of pull-ups, I did jumping jacks. I did close to 100 push ups over the hour-long workout. I did full push ups for most of it, but had to be on my knees for the diamond ones. Those are killer!! I only completed about 1/3 of the ab workout at the end. I was just too worn out from the hour we had already done.
But it's a hell of a lot more than I did yesterday or the months before it. :) The trainer reminds you over and over to go at your own pace and rest when you need to. It's easy to get discouraged when they're doing 30 of something and you can only do 10 but then I remind myself, they've had a lot more practice. I'll improve.
I made pork chops in the crock and we had green beans and water with it. Then we did dishes (by hand since the dishwasher is on the fritz). Holding the plate in one hand while I washed it with the other hurt my chest muscles and biceps. Hubby says "good". I told him if I had the strength I'd smack him. LOL
But he had a good point......I got a good work out......even if I couldn't keep up with everyone else.
