Tonight's run was women's group training run and once again it was very enjoyable. Its nice to run in a different place with people that enjoy the same thing you do. Its a refreshing change. I actually arrived early and ran 2 miles before group run and then 2.77 for during group run. It felt great! I actually out-paced the run/walk group so I ran ahead and left them in the dust so I may just move to the straight running group next week.

My piriformis is behaving and I have been doing my pigeon stretching so I will continue to do so. I really want to run a quick 3 miles tomorrow if my legs want to as my added day to my running week. This is just experimental so we shall see. I will run my LSD Friday and that will complete my week. I am in a great groove and I want to keep the momentum going. I am listening to my body both mentally and physically so I am not worried about me at all. I feel that I am at a point where I can safely add a little more now. I know...not any more than 10%. Check.

    Sounds like you are doing well with the running. Having the running group must help too. We are trying something here like that but we ended up with 3 different (small) pace groups. I don't know what a piriformis but I hope that yours behaves and that you can go running again today.

    I also run with a group of women and it's amazing how nice it is to be with a bunch of people who hold health as a high priority. I'm 49 but the other women are in their 50s, and 60s. We laugh about how much of an inspiration they are (apparently, when you're 65, you don't want to be called someone's "inspiration", lol) but really, I hope I can run that well when I'm 65.

    Anyway, sounds like a good day for you. Yeah, I can relate to that darn prinaforis too. (Don't even know if I spelled it correctly, but I sure know how to stretch it now!)
