ive been on Sparkpeople these days...but I haven't been blogging not even getting my daily sparkpoints, I'm in a place right now that... I can't describe really, I just wanna think, Im thinking...deeply thinking on WHY i want this, on WHAT went wrong that caused me to start gaining weight.... I have to be honest, these previous days I havent focused on food or exercise, I've just been there, in the corner, watching everyone lose weight, gain confidence... I will definitely post a blog this weekend because I think I have things clear now...I THINK hehee, anyways, hope all is good for u guys.

    Hi Adriana,

    Sounds like a time of self reflection. Try this;

    Keep on saying "So That"

    Ask yourself "Why do I want to lose weight" and after you come up with a reason why... Just keep on saying SO THAT.

    For example - Why Do you want to lose weight...

    --I want to lose weight to look better SO THAT...
    --I can feel more confident about myself SO THAT...
    --I can be the best looking person at my high school reunion SO THAT...
    --I can see the surprised looks on the faces of my classmates SO THAT...
    --I may be able to go on a date with the person I had a crush on in high school
    Can you see what's happening here?

    The more times you say SO THAT = the more and more motivated you'll become to lose weight.
