Crap! My legs were heavy in the first part of the run and I think it is because I still had alot of lactic acid in my leg muscles from my deep tissure massage last night. I did feel better further into the run though. I am also noticing that my HR is gradually going down with each run and I think tha tis a good thing. I am also very happy with the consistency of my pacing during my runs. That is coming naturally as I don't really think about it as I run.
I have also decided on a Half marathon training plan and that is the program my local running store (Running Wild) and running club puts on in conjunction with the Quad Cities Marathon September 27. Laurel, my LMT, told me about it last night and explained it to me and I am sold. I am enjoying my group run on Tuesday and this will be a great learning experience. It starts June 6 and I am excited! As I mentioned before, I am so happy with where my running is right now and hope and pray I stay healthy.
