So, I am looking for motivation to get moving again with my weight loss. I haven't gained, but I haven't lost. I haven't been able to do much exercise because of my Fibromyalgia, but I know that I can at least move more. Here is what I know AND learned to get motivated.
WHAT I KNOW: Obesity is one of the leading causes of premature death in the United States. Heart disease, diabetes, degenerative joint disorders, pancreatitis, acid reflux , asthma and sleep apnea are all caused by or aggravated by obesity.
WHAT I LEARNED: Obesity increases the risk of stroke, some types of cancer including endometrial (cancer of the lining of the uterus), colon, gall bladder, prostate, kidney, and post-menopausal breast cancer, and Fatty Liver Disease. Obesity is an increase Health Risk Factor For Chronic Venous Insufficiency, gallbladder disease, deep vein thrombosis, breathing problems, arthritis, and Health Risks For Expectant Mother and Baby. High blood pressure, and gout.
