Running Journal 5/11/2010 (easy 4 miles)

Since Sunday was a long 10 mile run I purposely planned today to be easy as let my legs dictate the speed and intensity. I did not use my Gymboss. I ran when i wanted to run and walked when I wanted to walk since I had minimal gizwitchies with me. My legs were a little doggie about the first 1/2 mile but quickly woke up. I was expecting them to feel heavy but that was not the case at all. I noticed that some hills in my neighborhood and there are several, are getting easier to the point where I am not even thinking about it. Hmmm...

The weather was damp and chilly so what sweating I did was sorta kinda uncomfortable but you'll have that as my mom always said. My plan for the rest of the week is just one more run of about 4 miles at a little quicker pace than today and thats it for a total of about 18 miles this week. I haven't looked into my crystal ball yet for next week but afterall, its just Tuesday this week.

    I love your blogs on your stats. Can I ask ... do they help you a lot with planning for future runs or are they to document the past? Just wondering because I have never logged anything with walking or ST or ... well ... anything.

    Great run...and a late congrats on your 10 mile run!! What a great accomplishment. You have a consistent pace....I agree with CATHERINEW3...maybe it is time to shake it up a bit!
