Shorts Season and Tumbling

Just some random thoughts:
I keep praying for rain. It should be really hot now that it's almost June, but luckily storms have been coming every other week or so. I bought all of my shorts last summer when I was about 15 pounds lighter. I can't bring myself to buy new ones in a size that I hope to be too big very soon, so I'm praying that the storms keep coming until I can lose more weight.
Thank God I weigh-in on Wednesdays! I went home this weekend and overate every day. I'm so disappointed in myself and I'm going to have to work really hard to make up for it in the next two days. I usually just skip weigh-ins when this happens, but I can't make excuses for myself. If I gain, it's because I earned it and I can't just pretend it didn't happen.
I signed up for two PE classes in fall quarter. One is racquetball; great exercise that I already know I'm pretty good at. The other is beginning tumbling. If learning to do flips and handsprings with a bunch of fit college students isn't motivation, I don't know what is! My best friend works at a trampoline gym, and I've spent the weekend there flipping into the foam pit and playing trampoline dodgeball with some boys. I want to wow my classmates by being the bigger girl that can keep up.
Finals are in two weeks. It's going to be hard to balance excessive studying with being healthy, but the more time I spend in the library, the less time I can be tempted to watch TV and eat. Wish me luck!
