Saturday, 5/22 Extracuricular FUN time...Street Bike Show!

Monday, May 24, 2010

Hubby & I decided to take a run to a big show in San Jose. So many street bikes everywhere you looked (and little hoochie-ish skinny chicks in tight clothes too - DAMN I need to shred this weight! lol). As some of you know, I have my own little rocket now. I will post a pics of the newest upgrades we've been working on - YES, I HAVE been hands-on and assisting my DH with all the upgrades, well, most of 'em anyways! Except for the pink neon kit and wire mesh. Man, I cringe everytime I talk about the bike because I swear if you didn't know I was a girl, you'd swear up and down I'm a DUDE the way I talk...haha

So, about the show. Well, let me let the pics speak for themselves.

Here's my personal fave...can you say "OOOOPS???"

This chick was freaking AWESOME, in a sick, twisted and slightly demented way:

Wheelies, Indos (a front wheel reverse-type wheelie) brake stands, tricks and falls too...it was so fun to watch it all. Even fun inhaling the exhaust and burnt brakes...heehee! Don't fret now, my little ones. I WILL NOT be attempting to do any of that crap (on purpose anyhow). I've barely mastered just riding around the neighborhood. I've been bugging DH to lead me onto the main drag and then onto the freeway, but he's NOT having it...wonder why???

And here's MY baby now:

Well, I better get productive for my last half hour of the day. Hope you enjoyed the pics - I sure did!

Lovin' all the upgrades to your bike!

Just curious if you've taken the Beginner Rider Course from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation? http://www.msf-usa.org/ I took that class years ago (like 1993) and DH took it with me even though at that time he'd been riding for over a decade. He said even an experienced rider like himself could learn from that basic course.
