In order to follow through on my "no scale" theory, I'm removing my ticker from my page.

    Great idea, numbers are just numbers, a lot of time they don't mean anything definitive. We must look at health holistically.

    I think that from now through the holidays I'm going to have a tough time keeping track of my food and am going to try to just maintain my weight until the new year, which means I'll be on the scale a few days a week.
    Once January starts, it's back to cooking all my food, tracking all that I eat, and getting back into a regular fitness routine. If I can maintain those goals, I'll get off the scale and switch to other means of tracking success.
    I'll try to update my blog with my progress.

    You inspired me to remove my ticker too. It makes me think about my number too much when I see it so many times a day since I'm very Spark active.

    I have been giving consideration to only weighing at the beginning of each month. Maybe soon? I think I have to get under 200 first (only 12 more pounds!) but it's a serious thought at this point.

    How has not weighing been for you? I know this blog was written a long time ago.

    Best of fortune to you with the "No Scale" I tried it for a month and it didn't work for me. One of my SparkFriends went to once a month and she totally grooved it.
