Trying something new

Ok, this is my first attempt to blog. My kids know all about it, but those of us who went to school in the days when PCs were unheard of are a little skittish about the whole thing. I guess it will be a learning experience for me.

Of course, I really should be working on my proposal (for my dissertation) rather than trying my hand at blogging. But these words seem to be coming a whole lot easier than the dissertation words. Who knows, maybe it will inspire me to move on to that file next!
