Can you believe I broke my toe last night? I was carrying the recycling into the garage and came down on slightly on the step, slipped and fell and somehow broke my toe. I saw a doctor today who did xrays and it is broken. He wants me to see an orthopaedic doctor which I am doing on Tuesday.
Now I have to figure out what to do about the weight loss and exercising. How does one exercise with a broken toe? I will do some strength training, but not sure what kind of cardio one can do not involving the legs. Ideas? It is either that, or I imagine I need to reduce my calorie intake a bit while I am less than optimal on the cardio. Currently, before breaking my toe, I have been alternating between the treadmill and my stationary bike. Not going to do either until at least after Tuesday.
