Day #3 - Shred - COMPLETE!
Friday, May 28, 2010
I am shredding away! I took a one day break from my 2 consecutive level 1 days of the 30 Day Shred on Wednesday but was right back at it yesterday evening after work. I sweated my guts out and fought on despite my thighs still being very sore. I was actually very proud of myself and found that I was able to keep up much better this time. I know it will only get better and better with each session. As Jillian says, the pain is "your body being forced to change"...well I'm all for change! I made sure to do some major stretching before and after and immediately hopped in a nice, hot shower to ease my aches and pains. No pain, no gain!
I think I might take more measurements next week or so, just to see how things are going. I am very optimistic and feel that I will really start seeing some results soon. Am currently debaiting when I should venture on to level 2, maybe after day #10...we shall see! All in good time. I just convinced about 3 coworkers of mine to try the video too. I swear by it, and again, it's only been 3 workouts. Powerful crap huh!!! lol - speaking of which - and this is probably way too much info - but since I've been "shredding", I have been "going" a lot!! Guess that's good and it seems not only fat and cals are what get shredded along the way.
Yes, I did actually say it!
My plan for today is to hook up with my girl Jillian today for day #4 of the Shred, providing hubby didn't make plans. Tomorrow am, I will hit the pool again and see how many laps I can get in. Gosh, it feels good to be motivated! I have had a wonderful breakfast today and plan on being good. Yesterday was "ok" but didn't take pics of everything. Ended up within my range so that's good.
Here's what I've had so far:
99% fat free Lowfat peach yogurt: 160cal (I ran out of fat free)
1 serving old fashioned oatmeal with craisins, raisins, blueberries, cinnamon and ground flaxseed: 583 cals
It's not raining today, so that's always an instant uplifter and mood-booster. I can't wait for a nice, 3 day weekend and I hope all of you enjoy yourselves and find a way to push that extra mile and do something good for yourself!
