Another Great Zumba Workout!!

Decided not to go to the mountain today, so that means I get to attend the Zumba class at the gym. It was my intention to do weights, 3 miles on treadmill, and then Zumba. Started off way too late, so i didnt do weights at all. I only had time for one mile before class, followed by the other 2 miles after the class. Things started off well, got my usual spot, front row left. Can't get my groove on if I dont have that spot. Within in 15 minutes of Zumba feet started to hurt, Oh no I thought!! emoticon Thank God, I realized i was still wearing my running shoes!!! emoticonQuickly changed into my cross trainers and life was good again within minutes!! emoticon Skipped the five minute class cooldown and went straight to the treadmill. Did about 5 or so minutes cooling down there then I was off to get my jog on. It felt really good to be on the treadmill. I really have to get over myself and train for my next race. Yes, I know I can do a 5k, but I want to run/jog the whole thing; not even one 30 second walk break. June in GA wont be a nice 60 degrees, so i need to prepare and be ready!! If I had to do it today, I wouldn't make my goal; fortunately I have 4 weeks. And school is out for the kids. Tons of stress left my body and mind at 11:45 Friday!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Love my job, but it is stressful!!

Side note: There was a guy RUNNING beside my slow jog. I wanted to stay to see how long and far he went, but I had things to do today. I did notice that treadmill was on 7.8 for some of his run. He was definitely averaging about a 9 minute mile. WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!
