Bouncing back from a slip

Ok, yesterday I did not eat too well. It was the weekend and TOM, resisting the urge to graze all day.
Far too many snacks. Nearly 1000cals over my range. Erks.
But that was yesterday, today is all back to normal I went shopping got fruits and veg so plenty of that from now...so why is yesterday still playing on me mind?
I have my monthly weighin next week, so I'm feeling like I've blown it etc. Will my slip show on the scales?
Logically I'm telling myself that 1000 is not the end of the world, just eat at the lower end of your cal range for the rest of the week and the differential will even out. Might be time to revisit some motivaltional points as well.
