Hey, I'm down a pound from yesterday so I'm happy about that! I think it was .59%. So Vandal wins the bragging rights for the week!
I want to thank everyone for their blogs yesterday; it really got me out of my funk and back on track.
Thanks to Vandal's suggestion, I made yesterday a great 24 hours. I wasn't "feeling it" for most of the day but I did everything I was supposed to do (and nothing I wasn't!) We can do anything for 24 hours, right?
Then I read Nancy's blog about Practice (I know she wrote that for me!), Makambo's blog asking for help being accountable with her exercise (she needs me!) and Nancy15's inspiring 5K blog, and a few others, and now I am feeling it.
My weight is still up from my cruise, so I've got some serious work to do. This was the summer I was going to lose the LAST 20 pounds, not re-lose the first 20.
Nancy, after reading your blog I realize that I have to make a decision if this quest is worth it or not. If it is, then I have to do what is necessary, whether I'm "feeling it" or not. If I needed dialysis I would make time for it; it I needed breathing treatments for asthma I would make time for it -- so what's the difference?
I've got my day planned. I'm going to make this a great 24 hours.
