Graduation Party Blues

Thursday, June 10, 2010

I am on a streak of hitting 3 graduation in 8 days, a couple of nephews, and a niece which has really tested my will power.
1. So much food that is so good, and family members who are telling me to eat up. I am trying to fill up on veggies, and drink water. Keeping my to track what I m eating.

2. Many times the homemade salads are tough to measure how many calories that they have.

3. Cake, need I say more.

4. Standing around talking with food being munched on, and before I know it I ate too much.

Just being honest... I am contending even when I could cut my self a break.

I can relate there are 5 graduations in my life and just did two wedding receptions, and have a crabby husband which always sent me into a eating frenzy. emoticon emoticon I agree with everyone else that we would have eaten more if we were not aware. A suggestion have a glass of water in hand and a piee of gum in mouth and people will think you are chewing on food oh also have a plate of veggies in hand. Don't be afraid to say no thank you I have had enough. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon we are with you all the way.
