Finally Lost a couple of pounds!!!

Finally - I see some weight loss after a long struggle… 2 months struggle of no change. I am now 160.4…

As you all know by now… my goal is to be 159 by July 1st… so that I can complete my goal of losing 50# in 6 months…

So I only need to lose 1.4# from now until July 1st… to reach that goal. 1.4 is nothing… right? LOL… I don’t know… from what I've been seeing the last 2 months… All I been doing is gaining every week… LOL.

So this will be hard... But I have to kick some behind and accomplish my goal!!!! I have to meet my goal... i dont want to let myself down... this is the first time that I set out a real goal.. and have actually been so close to completing it... only 1.4# away. So i have to do this! I have to push myself this week and get it done. I do not want to FAIL. I hate failure. I have failed so many times before trying to lose this wait... I am no longer a failure. I will do this.

    It sounds like you're doing really well, and accomplished so much! You may have heard this before, I haven't gone through all your posts to see if someone else mentioned it, but I noticed your spark pages say you eat no more than 1400 a day...1000-1400...that's pretty drastic. I'm wondering if you've put in the correct info in the spark calculators since it's coming up so very low for someone that is taller like you. You know, you can really sabotage your weight loss efforts by NOT eating enough. Sometimes you have to add some calories to lose the weight. I'm just suggesting you take a look at your calorie range again to make sure nothing has changed, like I said I don't know if others have mentioned it or not, but it was just something I noticed that looked a bit out of whack.     emoticon You are so close. Even if you did not make your goal, I don't think you are a failure at all. It's so great that you have lost that much in 6 months. It is a motivation to many.

    go girl .. i am suck right now so I totally feel you !!!

    I lost 50 lbs in just over 4 months so it can be done!!! but since then i've not whittled away much...

    don't give up .. any weight down is awesome!

    You are doing great and even if you don't see 159 on July 1 remember how far you have come. It is so true that you only fail if you quit and I know that you are not a quitter!!

    That is my same goal, to reach 159 by July 1. It's kinda hard when you take one step forward, two steps back, but I am giving it my very best and that is what you need to do... Give it your very best, no regrets - just in case the scale doesn't move to 159 on that date, I've prepared my pep talk for myself - We only FAIL if we quit. So 159 or not, we are winners. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and me both. We can do it.
