that is not what I ordered

The boss asked me to pick up a salad from McD's for her today. I'm starting to grow weary of salads for lunch, so I thought I'd get a couple of their grilled chicken snack wraps. I got back to work, only to find that they had wrapped them as grilled chicken, but they were actually CRISPY chicken.

*sigh*

In two of them, that's a total of 120 extra calories I really didn't need today. So ... do I aim for a little extra effort in a workout this evening, or cut back somewhere else? Or just chalk it all up to an unfortunate misunderstanding?

The sad thing is, those weren't calories that will help fill me up. They could have at least been protein or something more useful. No, instead it was just breading and grease. blegh.

Alright, back to my previously scheduled stellar day!! Make it a great one!!

    I hate it when that happens. And it always seem to happen with those snack wraps. I almost never eat McD's (we're seriously talking maybe 3-4 times in the last year) but it seems like every time I ordered those snack wraps I got crispy instead of grilled. It's a conspiracy, lol.

    I hate when you find out they messed up your order AFTER you've already left. I would just do an extra lap around the block.

    Life happens...it's only one day. Now maybe watch carefully the rest of the week, even being under your calorie counter, or step up you exercise for the next couple of days. At the end of the week, you should have balanced things out.

    Okay, Teresa, so I would say you adjust the rest of food today to exchange...and if you can't totally offset those extra cals/fat gms, then chalk it up to experience...forgive the person who got it wrong...and next time have them repeat the order back. I do.

    I know its not the same as messing up your order...but I like to save calories and get fried zuchinni at a local fast food restaurant sometime for dinner. They always ask..."do you want ranch?" (to dip them in) and while I DO badly want ranch...i say no...because its not worth the calories. When i get home, there is always a handful of Ranch dressing packets in the bag. I always manage to overcome it, but i HATE the temptation. No means NO!! ....oh and I hate ordering a DIET soda only to get home and have it be regular. Argh!

    I hate when you don't get what you ordered. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwitch the other day and it wasn't COOKED all the way!
