OK so I'm back to work part time and I'm finding it really hard. Today is my 4th day back and I woke up feeling soooooo tired even though I had a snooze in the afternoon and went to bed at half past 11. The alarm woke me up at 6 and it was hard getting up. Mind you being woken by a chinnook hovering overhead at 2 am probably didn't help. God only knows what it was doing there.
I did manage to get to the gym yesterday afternoon and did my workout. Managed to walk for 15 mins 10 mins at 5.5km and 5 at 5km. another 12 on the arm bike and the rest doing exercises and weights machines. I'm gonna have the best arms in the business at this rate.
I've lost 2lb of what I'd put on, so I'm back to 195 so it's a downward curve again which is good. I guess that's the art of weight maintenance, not letting it get too out of hand. One of the women at work said to me wow, you've not put any weight on whilst you've been laid up. Well I guess I haven't the 3lb I put back on is nearly gone again and I'm just thinking how much I COULD have put on back in the days when I weighed 245lb
I'd probably have put on another 14lb or so. Just goes to prove, this is the new me, the old me is well and truely gone,
