Ok, so I've joined the stress busters challenge this week. I am really hoping it will help me remember what I need to do to decress my stress level! I know it has a negative effect on my health and my relationships with everyone, so that also means I know I need to work on it.
The hardest part for me is to recognize that my stress level is increasing so I can start doing something about it before I get super-stressed. I am hopeful this challenge will help me remember that. I guess the funniest part is that the nurse in me recognizes increasing stress levels in everyone around me, but when it comes to recognizing them in myself--well, I'm my own worst patient!
So I am hopeful this challenge will help me to pay attention to and be more objective with regard to my own stress level. The healthier and less stressed I am, the better it will be for everyone around me. It will also set a good example for the kids. And I would be thrilled to have them adopt more healthy lifestyle behaviors!!!
