What the @#$%^&**?

Sunday, June 27, 2010

Two weeks ago I weighed myself and I lost 1 pound. Last week I weighed myself and I lost 1 pound. So, in conclusion I figured all is going as planned. I worked out regularly on the treadmill and by walking randomly to different places just to walk. I measured my calories on the nutrition tracker, measured my serving sizes and tracked my exercise closely.

This week was different somehow, I found I was sporadically tracking things but I noticed I had learned from my many weeks of tracking that measuring my food and portions were successful. Even though, I did not track my food as precisely and wasn't on Spark as much, I ate less and was careful anyway. I went for a 4 mile walk in the park instead of the usual treadmill routine. I enjoyed the walk and was able to see wildlife and beautiful foliage. It was cooler than my usual walks and much more peaceful. I didn't exercise at all Tuesday and Wednesday and thought I would not stay on track for the week.

On Thursday, I went swimming and just swam randomly and had fun just puttering around in the pool. On Friday, I went to a Storm(TAMPA BAY ARENA FOOTBALL) game and walked around the stadium a couple of times.

Saturday, I thought I would make up for lost time and just felt like walking for a while in the air conditioning. I walked for over an hour on the treadmill and it felt good. I thought about how I would let this week slide and pick up where I left off on Sunday.

Here it is Sunday, I weighed myself which I do on this particular day because that is the start of the week on Spark. I went from 267 last week to 261.5. WOWW!!! and I thought I blew it. I guess from my reading that having fun is better than just getting on the treadmill day after day, over and over again. Of course, weight loss isn't a perfect science (as I discovered). emoticon emoticon emoticon
