SIDETRACKED

Hey all you spark people. I am back. I lost 10 lbs last time that I was here an I gained them back in my absence.
We all had the flu again and a difficult time getting rid of some uninvited guests-LICE, and I had some bad reactions to med changes. One of them included rapid weight gain. I gave up for awhile. Do not give up!! It doesn't help at all.
Here I am again!! Thank you Sparkpeople for still being here. I decided that giving up was not a good idea and I found a workout buddy 3 WEEKS AGO. When I was sick with the flu and laying on my couch, I googled how to go from a couch potato to running a 5K IN 12 WEEKS AND I called my neighbor up and asked her if she wanted to do it.
It is a HUGE help having someone to workout with and we are on week three of the program and doing well together. Today we are adding weight training. HURRAY!!
I am not weighing myself for awhile. I am just concentrating on the program and feeling better.
Thank You Sparkpeople for not giving up on me.

It's okay, sweetie. Life happens while we are making our nifty plans. I am sure you are doing your best to learn and grow and rock this journey the way you need to.

It is courageous to start over and blog about why you need to. That kind of courage will get you to where ever you want to go in life and this journey.

I am so happy for and proud of you, gorgeous.

Rock this like you know you can :)
