Lean Cuisine Market Creations are AMAZING!

Wednesday, July 07, 2010

I never blog about what I eat but this time I decided I would. WHY?! Because for the first time in quite awhile I've been introduced to a new favorite that I think most people who are dieting/maintaining will/would like.

Lean Cuisine meals have been a staple in my diet forever not only for the price, flavor, but for the quantity and quality. Most recently they've introduced a new line called Market Creations that are steam bags. They steam within minutes and are amazingly delicious. For you WW fans out there it even includes the points value. So far I've had two of these and loved both.

The one I have a picture of is the Shanghai Style Shrimp. It's 250 calories, 3 fat grams, 4 grams of Fiber and 4 WW points. It is shrimp with udon noodles, snap peas, bell pepper and carrots in a sweet & spicy Asian sauce. I found the flavor very flavorful and had a little heat to it. This meal was quite filling and definitely I feel like I got more bang for my buck!

Today for lunch I had Mushroom Tortelloni. Portobello mushroom and cheese stuffed tortelloni with snap peas, sun-dried tomatoes, peas and red peppers in a creamy = mushroom sauce. YUM!! emoticon

Here are the other flavors:
Asiago Cheese Tortelloni
Chicken Alfredo
Chicken Margherita
Garlic Chicken
Shrimp Scampi
Spicy Ginger Chicken

Pair any of these w/ a small salad and you've got yourself a fabulously flavorful filling meal! emoticon

Thanks for the tip. Will try them when I'm in the States next time. Might be something my dad would like and could fix for himself! Important for him - no broccoli! and so many of the frozen dinners have broccoli in them. LOL

    Blessings,
