Re-Spark

Well, the pregnancy thing hasn't happened as quickly as we thought ---- we got a positive test in August, but then lost that one before I even got a chance to get into the Dr. I was on Babyfit while TTC, but got so depressed after trying for several months that I decided to give that site a break.

I started a page on MySpace, but find I have more in common with folks on this site right now. There are a lot of weird people on MySpace. :) A lot of "kids" (teens and early 20s) whom I have little in common with.

Dec 5 of last year, I weighed 147-149lbs when I started SouthBeach. I met several wonderful people on there and we all decided to jump over to Spark because it was free ---- we knew enough about the SB program that we could follow it if we like ---- I found, tho, I like Spark much better. It's something I can really follow for a lifetime - I won't follow SB for a lifetime.

I lost 15lbs by April of this year and then we decided to get off of birth control. Since then, I've managed to keep off 10 of the 15lbs I lost. I would like to lose that extra 5lbs by the end of January ---- which means I need to get out those walking shoes!

Posting blogs on here was helpful when I wanted to restart the program ---- I was able to see again what had worked so well for me. My food habits are actually okay, it's my exercise that needs to be bumped up.

When I bump that up, I should see results fairly quickly ---- average of 2lbs a week is pretty quick!!
