I am soooo loving this challenge!!! We have two weeks in and two weeks to go and I'm loving the progress that I've already witnessed ON and OFF the scale.
First of all, I feel a gazillion times better. My energy levels are increasing, I'm in less pain and overall, I just feel good.
My CARDIO and WATER intake has been on point thanks to the PUSHES and PULLS from my accountability partners. My NUTRITION and STRENGTH-TRAINING is "better", but they are still not at they're best. But, am I stressing??? NO SIR-EEEEEE BOB! I'm pleased with the improvements that I've made, I'm re-learning to appreciate this lifestyle change and I keep reminding myself to keep it moving ON TO THE NEXT ONE!
Regarding my ON the scale and OFF the scale results to date, I am tickled PINK and GREEN. DAILY I am celebrating GOD's goodness for giving me health and strength and appreciating the fact that I AM fearfully and wonderfully made...AMEN (Psalms 139:14 KJV)! So far, I've lost 5.5 lbs. I'm sure I've lost some inches as well, because I'm down one dress size, but I've decided not to take my measurements until the conclusion of the challenge. Also, I'm super comfortable to be in the skin that I'm in...the rolls, handles, stretch marks and all...because I know that my latter will be greater than my former (Haggai 2:9 NLT)!
Oh, and I'm absolutely loving my new workout friendly hair and last Friday, I got it cut even shorter. Here's a picture of yours truly that was taken at my cousin's birthday party on 7/17:
Any-who, for the remainder of the challenge, I've decided to kick things up a notch.
Last week FOXYLOSE30 and I made a promise to strength train on a particular day. Although I was unable to make it to the gym to get my "muscle on", because I had made her a promise I lifted weights with COACH NICOLE on one of the SPARK videos...and still had an awesome workout. So, I've decided to post my "Plan A" and "Plan B" workouts for the rest of the week to hold myself accountable and to hopefully SPARK all of my accountability buddies! :)
Plan A = Aqua Aerobics (Class was cancelled due to weather, so I went w/ Plan B)
Plan B = 45 mins. Core Rhythms Salsa Blast
Plan A = 3.3 mile walk w/ one of my HS Classmates/FB Accountability Partner
Plan B = iPod Dancing
Plan A = Lower Body Strength Training w/ my SP & FB Accountability Buddies & Zumba w/ JENGER2DAY
Plan B = Core Rhythms & Lower Body Strength Training with COACH NICOLE
Plan A = Upper Body Strength Training w/ my SP & FB Accountability Buddies & Zumba w/ JENGER2DAY
Plan B = Home Elliptical workout & Upper Body Strength Training either with COACH NICOLE or Exercise TV
REST DAY...Kinda Sorta...LOL!
I have plans to go to an 80's Flashback Party Friday night...where one of my two favorite DJ's on the planet will be rocking the 1's and 2's!!!
Plan A = Full Body Strength Training and 120 minutes Aqua Aerobics with my #1 SPARK & FB accountability partner.... Mama a/k/a DDROSE a/k/a DeLo
Plan B = Full Body Strength Training and Zumba with JENGER2DAY
Oh yes, I have a plan and I'm working it...I'm ON TO THE NEXT ONE!!!
