Since my long run (Bix 7) is Saturday I moved my Tempo run up a day so I can rest my legs Thursday and Friday as the race will be tough in tough conditions. I am not getting nervous about the race yet...YET. Tonights run was not easy as there was no wind at all. This just reminds me just how much I appreciate my EARLY morning runs. I don't care for these summertime after work runs AT ALL. My intervals were all over the place as I was adjusting as I ran. My pacing was also all over the board too so overall, this was an inconsistent run but I will take it.
I seriously think I am NOT going to run until the race and then a recovery run on Sunday. I don't plan on running Bix at race pace as it is my long run plus I just don't feel it would be a wise move. Tomorrow evening is my first expo with race packet pickup and I am pretty excited about it.
I am continuiing with my ST and feel good about the fact that I am doing something for the fluff. That fluff was starting to really get to me and effect my moods. I am sore in various places but its a good sore. Woot!
