#381: Tired, But Still Believing
Friday, July 23, 2010
Life has been extremely stressful lately. I have been exhausted physically and mentally. There are overwhelming problems with no positive resolution in sight. They have taken a toll.
Still, I believe things will get better and work themselves out. I don't know how or when but believe life can not keep on as it has for too much longer.
That is a tremendous benefit of positive thinking. Even though times are tough, there is always a hopeful feeling that circumstances will improve. Just the opposite of having a negative attitude, always thinking the worse and expecting it.
Let's admit that not one of us will have a life of constant fortune without problems or setbacks. To believe otherwise is naive. So, knowing that, how do we handle life when it constantly throws us curve balls?
Try digging deep down inside for the golden nugget that lies inside all of us, the kernel of belief that connects us with the the greater power of the universe. THAT will keep us fired up and, despite constant and continual hardships, will give us the positive foundation we need to keep going, to hang tough, to know that life's trials are temporary and that these, too, shall pass.
Yes, tribulations and challenges may wear us down and drain us of our energy, but they needn't sap us of our belief in a grand plan for our lives, one that will overcome immediate problems.
We need to keep believing, always.
