In all honesty I don't think my legs were ready for Speedwork after the Bix last Saturday and I could feel it. You may not tell by looking at my magic mile, but it took alot of effort to get that number. Kelley is going to take that time and refigure my HM training times. I am okay with that.

My hubby just got home from the Oshkosh Airshow so I am going to cut this short so I can visit with him. My next run is a quick 3 mile EASY recovery run tomorrow and then a 5 mile long run Sunday as this is cutback week.

Until then...

Toodles!!!

Here comes another emoticon-free comment from Melancholy Mike.

Sorry I've been so busy this week that I haven't been paying much attention to my friend feed. I would have advised you to run your miles easy last night. After your half, you will need to do so for weeks. Very easy recovery pace runs. Your coach should not have asked you to do this time-trial, and should have told you to run easy tonight since she knew you raced the Bix.

That said, plugging your mile result into Mcmillan, it indicates easy runs at 12:45 to 13:15 and long runs from 12:45 to 13:45. In other words, where you've been running the past couple of weeks.

You know, with your repetition of train to race, not race to train, its slowing becoming my mantra, too! (Hope you dont mind!)

    Keep on truckin!!!
