I needed this easy recovery run badly and since my mileage is a little more than the actual plan I decided to back it off a mile and make it just 3 miles. My legs did indeed feel better as I ran and that is a good thing. We are having a community-wide garage sale weekend so I was dodging active garage sale participants and they have tunnel vision when it comes to anything but garage sales. I was successful in making it through my run without incident LOL.
I don't run now until Sunday morning and that will be just 5 miles as that is the excent of my long run since it is cutback week. Next week, things ramp back up and I will have a 10 mile LSD a week from Sunday. this shouldn't be a problem as I have done that distance twice before. For now, I shall enjoy my little break.
