Bloated like a beached whale

I woke up this morning and I feel as though I've put on 50 extra pounds....My clothes are all fitting the same... but I'm feeling as though... I'm waddling. OMG... I waddle.

I'm extremely sleepy, and with that... it tends to make me stuff food in my mouth when I really shouldn't. So, have been TRYING to stay alert for the entire day and make concious decisions on what not to go into my mouth.

I have no energy today to exercise, to cook, or to clean. Which is usually the days I wind up swinging by McDonalds for dinner and calling it quits. I CAN'T do that this time around.

I can only assume my TOM is on it's way... since bloating rears its ugly head about that time.... and I get this way.

Ugh... perhaps I WILL do fast food for dinner... a salad picked up from the store with tons of veggies thrown in. That is harmless right? Okay... enough today...

    ANDIEJZ is right. Take a multivitamin w/iron. Be sure to take calcium as well. Get enough sleep and rest. Eat as healthy as you can. Pick up some Lean Cuisine meals and keep them handy for times when you don't feel well or feel up to cooking. Have a tossed salad, veggies and fruit with your Lean Cuisine meal.

    For a snack have a sliced apple with a tsp of peanut butter, low fat string cheese, chewing gum, fruit, a popsicle or caramel(lol caramel) flavored rice cakes. This is what helps me.

    It is hard to eat good when you are feeling so crummy. But if you eat bad, it will only make it worse. Drink lots of extra water to help flush some of that bloating out. And if you don't feel like cooking, salads or Subway is always a good option. I am actually hooked on salads that they sell at Cub Foods right now. They are located by the bagged salad and come with everything you need....even a fork! Today for lunch I had a spring green mix with dried cranberries, walnuts, feta cheese, chicken, and Raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It was very yummy and only 210 calories!

    This was me the end of last week....and it was my TOM. Take a multivitamin w/ Iron if you haven't already. Try to be strong and stay away from the fast food. If you do, get a salad! McD's Chicken Bacon Ranch is the lowest calorie FF salad right now... and it's super yummy!
