I have finally got around to taking ‘before’ pictures!
I felt way too self conscious and uncomfortable at my heaviest to willingly keep a photographic record of what I looked like in my underwear. I really wish I had tho, I can tell my body has changed from the fit in my clothes, but it would really have been a thrill to be able to compare pics. Oh well, maybe a few months from now…
Taking the pics by myself wasn’t too hard once I found the time delay function on my phone’s camera, then it was just a matter of blu-tacking it to the wall around waist height and striking poses.
Not an earth-shattering loss this week, but 0.7 lbs is pretty reasonable. I’ve been a bit rubbish at being active, so I’ve now committed to a 90 day fitness program to give myself some structure and motivation. It was actually the program material suggestion to take the ‘before pics’, so I feel like I’ve got something out of it already :)
Today was Day 1 of the program, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could do most of it. I still can’t do even half-pushups or tricep dips, but I do what I can and so long as I keep going I’ll get there eventually.
My eating has gone a bit mental. I don’t think I’ve been particularly overeating, but I need to get back to my breakfast routine and more regular meals.
Overall, I have high hopes for the next few months. While I’m still not too happy with how I look, I’m oddly excited about being able to take my next batch of pics and hopefully seeing a real change
