Could this week go by any slower? Seriously, Monday and Tuesday were just downer days...as you could probably tell by yesterday's blog entry.
Today has been a painful one to say the least. I have had this horrible migraine all day and stuck it out at work as I am I a one woman show for a little bit and in the job I do, well...that's a crappy place to be...hopefully soon, reinforcement will come. Until then, I am the only person in my department of 8000 or so people who does what I do. So when I get sick...it sux! It keeps me employed on the up side of things :) (see that was me being positive!)
So I stuck it out, came home and had to go grocery shopping and bring kids to soccer, etc...the house doesn't stop when the Mamma is feeling like crap....here too I am the only one that does what I do...LOL
So I just crawled into bed to Spark, but I still have to do my daily crunches and push ups and watch Big Brother doing a min of 20 minutes of exercise of sorts....and it's already 8:30...YIKES!
I can't watch Big Brother without my son as it's our thing to do together. To top it off I could sleep standing up right now...man am I tired!
Spirits-wise, I am feeling a lot better today.
I went out and got a hair cut and colour after work, to lift my spirits and make me feel better about myself.
I also still pressed on and did my scheduled C25K, as well as push ups and crunches...100 now SUNNY!!!! WOOHOO!!!! I am soooo catching up to you...yippee!!!
I did planks and Wii Fit Plus and lived to tell....my abs are a bit tender today, but I am good to go.
I still walked up my 7 flights of stairs this morning, I would actually say I lightly jogged...it was faster than a walk...but certainly not a run...cuz that would simply kill me!!! It's weird how I can run for 25 minutes straight with ease, but walk me up those stairs and I am close to a full on asthma attack...go figure!
I also registered myself for a 5k on October 2nd as well as a family 1km fun run for myself and the kids...
As well...I registered myself for an 8k on October 30th!!!
I wanted to pay for it so I couldn't back down! I posted it in my office and will post it here at home to remind me that I CAN DO IT!!! at least I'd better do it...75$ for the 3 of us to do a 1k family fun run...that is CRAZY...but worth it...I am hoping to 'SPARK' the interest in my kids as well...
So as you can all see, I survived my downer day thanks to me sucking it up and pushing through...all your kind words and Spark goodies helped too!!! THANKS A BUNCH!!!
My son is home from soccer practice now
so I can go watch Big Brother AND exercise...then sleep sleep sleep!!!
RUN RUN RUN!!
