Ok, so I rarely blog (and after reading this you’ll surely know why) emoticon

This morning as I was cleaning up from having my breakfast (protein shake w/ground oatmeal and greek yogurt YUM) I realized that I had gotten a couple stains on my white countertop last night while decorating a cake and it was driving me nuts. (red and black food coloring are the worst, and apparently the dish soap didn't do the trick at midnight)

Well, I somehow entered into an OCD moment and began scrubbing my kitchen sink and counter. (because isn’t that what EVERYONE does at 6 am when they are supposed to be getting ready for their day job?)

Enter Mr. Clean!

(one of my new favorite cleaning tools)
I grabbed one and started wiping out the couple little spots on the counter and the next thing I know I’m looking for things to clean! Which, let's face it, really isn’t the best use of the time I had…thank goodness I work in casual office with no visitors (can you say hair clip and jeans?)
As I'm scrubbing away and off in my little world I got to thinking “boy, wouldn’t it be nice if they made a “Magic Eraser” for fat and cellulite?” Something that you could just focus on the problem areas and rub away!
Then I said to myself….you have it…it’s called PROPER NUTRITION and EXERCISE!!

I mean really, even a Magic Eraser doesn’t work unless YOU make it MOVE and apply it to the areas that need "cleaned up". Doesn't do any good to have one if you never take it out of the box now does it?

So there I was thinking, geez I AM MY OWN Magic Eraser! Not that I didn't already know this, I do, and I've proven it to myself quite effectively. I just sometimes need to rethink things to approach them from a fresher (or more fun) point of view.

All I have to do is follow my nutrition plan and get in my workouts and I know I will “erase” the fat and cellulite and leave behind a leaner, “cleaner” (eating) ME! (again)

So, guess I am going to stock up on MY Magic Erasers of clean eating/proper nutrition and strength training and cardio workouts.

And there you have it, why I don’t really blog much.

Thanks for sharing this I was just cleaning with my magic eraser in the kitchen when I did 5 pushup against my counter. Maybe if I can do the eraser on counter it will work on me too at the same time. Wipe and do jumping jacks, wipe and do pushups. There has be away to speed this up faster.

What a beautiful analogy! I need to take a commercial floor-polisher to my assorted flab, though! :) - Sandi emoticon

I for one, think it was a fantastic blog. So darn true even though I'd rather pop one of those nifty sponge thingys out of a box instead of having to work at it! You should blog more often! emoticon
