Couch to 5K: Week 7, Day 1

Woohoo...I did it!!!
I dragged my butt outta bed and ran before the kids were up!
I never thought I'd do it...
I also tried something a bit different today, I always have my workout include the 5 minute warm up and cool down...this time I didn't start the ticker til I was ready to run...well almost...I have an extra 3 minutes on it so it will alter the pace just slightly..
Running in the morning was different in so much as I ran as soon as I got out of bed. I didn't eat or drink water or take my asthma inhaler. So I was caught with my morning stuffiness from allergies, so next time I have to at the very least take my allergy pill and use my inhaler. I was ok without having food, however in the last 3 minutes I noticed I was getting hungry.
So those were my lessons learned.
Stats for today....
Time= 28 minutes (that includes the 3 minutes before I realized I shouldn't start the clock til AFTER the warm up)
For giggles and s%$ts, I started the clock when I got outta my car and wanted to see how long it takes me to get to my office from the parking lot...that included the 7 story stair climb....
It took me 3.34minutes
to walk .30Km and only burn 25 cals going up those damn stairs....which seriously can't be right...
I think because I used my Nike Sensor, it bases it on stride...not incline/heart rate so the calories burned HAS to be wrong...if it's not, then is it worth taking the stairs every morning...not so sure!
