Hi everyone. It has been about a week since the last time I wrote and it has been a pretty good week. I haven't been able to keep up with my food blog this week, work has been crazy. So I just wanted to give on update on how my week went.
I was able to get some kind of excerise in everyday but Friday, which I took as my rest day. I am still doing the Power 90 Sculpt video. Not so much the Cardio DVD, some of the jumping hurts my knees so I have been just substituting it with the running/walking that I have learned to love so much but I still do the Abs workout.
Now food wise, I started counting my WW points again. I think I needed to incorporate healthier food choices. I had really been trying to stay away from processed foods and such but with me being really busy at work and a little stressed some of these processed foods have made my life a little easier for me. The last time I was on WW I had a limit of 24 points a day, it wasn't until Thursday that I found my Book One. OPPS! I have a limit of 22 points. So I was a little off but I still have my Weekly 35 points to use throughout the week.
I have some food choices that I am really proud of and they have become some of my favorites.
I have made this breakfast sandwich with egg whites, ham and chipotle cheddar cheese on a deli flatbread. You can add veggies I just didn't have any available. 5 points
Another favorite is Special K Chocolatey Delight cereal with skim milk and fresh strawberries. (1.5 servings of the cereal, 1 cup of skim milk and about 3-4 strawberries) 5 points.
This past week I also ran in the Daylight to Darkness 5 mile race. I really enjoyed the longer run. I received two awards, one for my best time in the Jogger Series.
1st Place in the Athena category time 35:32:13
I also got 2nd place in the Daylight to Darkness time 1hr 03min 33secs
I also lost 4 of the 4.4lbs that I gained last week.
To reward myself to getting back on track I got my hair done.
New color.
P.S. My grandmother is still in the hospital but in better spirits. Thanks everyone for the kind words and support.
