19 mile ride!

Yesterday Denise and I did our longest ride of the year.
It was 19 miles out of the city into the country side.

We rolled by cows, sheep, an alpaca, pigs and canadian geese.
It is amazing to see these farm animals so close to just west of Boston.

We encountered a lot of hills, but managed to get over them and we are much improved from last week.
Not bad when you consider we ride hybrids.

This summer has brought so much hot & humid weather that has not been conducive to getting out at all. emoticon

Today we have rain, so I'm glad we got this ride in.

Hoping to get out tomorrow.

    I chose "I liked this blog!" because I participated in this fantastic 19 miler too! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I feel great being able to ride just under 20 miles at this point, and I truly look forward to adding more miles to that number. I felt much stronger this weekend than I had the past two weeks.
    We were both able to attack the hills feeling much stronger -- that's ALWAYS a great feeling!!

    With my fibromyalgia, chronic pain, othopedic & rheumatologic problems, I am extremely grateful to God that I'm able to ride at all.
    I've never been able to ride everyday, but I consider it a gift when I can join you on a gorgeous day in the country, riding our bikes into the sunset. emoticon

    Looking forward to the next adventure!
