Men Stink!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, August 30, 2010

Well I was in a good mood today until I called my husband for a favor. He is in the military and when he is home he generally is home by 1 p.m. while I work until 5 p.m. Yet he never picks up the kids from daycare/summer camp, I do that after I get off work at 5 p.m. So today I had planned to pick up the children from daycare after 5 p.m. and then deliver some boyscout delivers of popcorn that had been ordered. However, I received at call at work while I was at lunch saying some donations to the Elementary School PTA fall festival needed to be picked up tonight as well from the indoor batting facility. Oh and lets not forget I still need to cook dinner. So I called my husband and ask him if he got off early to swing by the indoor batting facility and pick up the donations for Connors Fall festival or could he start dinner He went on and on about how much I ask of him. EXCUSE ME! The whole time he is deployed I do everything. When he is home he maybe 3 times a week will start dinner before I get home but he should, he gets home 4 hours before me and only works 4 hour days every for a four month rotation. He does not cut the grass, or change kitty litter. His only responsibility around the house is laundry. I clean, do lawn care, cook over 75 percent of most meal, look after the kids and work an 8 hour day. Then he throws in my face how he makes more money. Oh course he does I gave up my job working for two federal judges to follow his career and keep our family together. Men always talk about how a women could never be president but I think we sure as heck can multitask better than men and get what needs to be done accomplished. It is days like today I wonder why I ever got married. Who needs a man?!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously think they are not helpful (at home) by nature. They will help their best friend move but not cook dinner or make sure the laundry or dishes are done. If he's not going to do that he needs to pamper you some other way! Hang in there!
