I am struggling so much at the moment that nothing seems worth it. Last week I put down to lose 6 pounds on one of the craft teams goals and I really thought I could do it. It is all down to Michael and his moods, he had two great weeks when he was up and we did some great things and I even enjoyed my birthday but now it seems as if just giving up is the best thing. Last night was very bad. emoticon I am running out of time for now.

    Hey to lose 6lb would be a heck of a stretch & you would have to be extremely drastic with your food. If you look on the site you will find that the best to aim for is 1 to 2lbs per week otherwise you put it all back on & then some.
    I'm sorry that Michael is down again and it's easy for me to say please try to keep yourself well & less stressed.

    Sorry your feeling so low. 6lb is a lot to aim for in one week, so please don't beat yourself up about it. It's taken me ages to lose 6lb. Keep plugging away and slowly but surely you will get there. As PETAL65 says, we have to learn to let go those things we can do nothing about.

    Life's difficult....sometimes those difficulties are in the front seat, sometimes in the back seat and sometimes when we're really lucky they're riding in the trunk, where they can't be seen.
    For me it's a matter of deciding what I can and can't do about things.
    Can I fix a particular problem my husband or child is dealing with, if yes then I help...if not then I have to say to myself 'Well there's nothing I can do, so I'll have to let it go'
    As to weight loss, well that is something we can do something about...it's all in the way we accept responsibility.
    Sometimes it's fun to exercise sometimes it's draining...
    sometime's it's easier to have that cookie but ALWAYS we feel badly about it (unless you plan for it and push yourself 5 extra minutes to make up for the caloric intake)
    You'll come through this....concentrate on the positive and leave the rest behind!
