Happy Friday!

Friday, September 10, 2010

Well it is Friday my official weigh in day. I lost 1 pound this week barely. That is if I stand on the scale at just the right angle. ha ha. But I will count it. I know I should be happy with a one pound loss and I am but I was just hoping that this week was the one where I could say goodbye to the 190's forever. However I guess I will have to wait another week for that final farewell.

I am happy to say that I am wearing a dress today that I purchased in March 2009. I bought the dress at a size 16 when I was an 18. I said that I would wear it summer 2009 (which never happened). This morning I pulled it out of the closet, pulled the tags off and wore it. However, there is another size 16 in my closet that I can't wear. So I am not a solid 16 but I will happily brag it today. HA HA

I am happy it is the beginning of the weekend. I have stayed so busy with school starting for the kids, trying to make sure they eat right and exercise daily, reading books, cooking, cleaning, etc. I am tired!!!! Tonight we will take it easy and watch a movie, snuggle with the pets and eat some popcorn (light of course). This weekend is filled with Grandparent day cookouts and Bay Days festivals. I am sure I will get my exercise but I worry about the food choices. Sunday is a fish fry. I can't complain because I am cooking it but I just wish my family would eat their seafood a different way other than fried. It is Grandparents day so I will fix it how they like it but what is wrong will grilling fish, blackening it or broiling it. I guess when in Rome do as the Romans for one day.

I have a Bella Birthday challenge I am participating in and final weig- in is Monday. I sure hope the fried fish doesn't prevent me from losing. Maybe I will just eat the potato and salad.

I hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend. And Happy Grandparents Day to those who have Grandchildren or Grandpets.
