An interesting quote
Tuesday, September 14, 2010
A wonderful young lady I know, a high-school classmate of my son actually, posted the following quote on Facebook today. It so intrigued me that I looked it up on google. I didn't find anything. So I looked some more. Every where I looked, the quote appeared but without a source. HMMM... very perplexing in this day and age of instant information.
I thought you might be. I found it so interesting that I decided to dedicate my blog to it today. Well, ok. I was feeling snarky and couldn't think of anything to write about anyway. Plus, if I couldn't find a source, but the quote was easy to find, what does that mean. Should I be reflecting on it maybe? Is the Universe trying to send me a message?
Really, I wonder... Would you like to see the quote?
"Sometimes you put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down. "
I wonder what walls I have up? Never mind, I know that answer, or at least I know most of it. I can think of quite a few walls I have put in front of other people just to see what they would do. Maybe not consciously, but still, they are there. I wonder if I have done that to myself too?
I think I may have to ponder this for a bit...
PS - Thanks to Alison for giving me food for thought.
