I decided that THIS week, since everything went well by bringing a friend for Payton, I thought what the hell...let's bring a friend for Reily too...
WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!!!???
Seriously...all you mothers with 4 kids...are either really stupid...or simply SAINTS!!!
I may simply have been that 2 were mine and well...two WEREN'T mine.
Anyway...it really wasn't all that bad...all kidding aside, we really DID have a great weekend.
My parents were in need of a dog sitter and we were in need of some serious outdoor activities. They live on the water...well not actually ON the water...but you get my drift...
So we arrived late afternoon Saturday, the girls and I made a cake...and YES I had a piece...as well as a glass of Bailey's and milk...did I mention I took 4 kids out to my dad;s place??!!!
The boys did some fishing while the girls built a fort and played with all 4 dogs at the water...
Sunday morning we drove to a local Provincial Park and walked a 5k trail...then we drove to Eganville to visit the 'Bat Cave' as we dubbed it. We hung out at the falls and then went to a Frontier Trails, a horseback riding place, where the girls went out on the trails, the boys played mini golf and I ran around taking photos of it all.
Somewhere along the way, I really did more damage to my back...not sure how, but I have been off this week because of the pain...it's pretty rough...
Here are a few pics of our travels...I took hundreds so it was hard to pick .
'After' we tried to warn him that he was far to clumsy to be up there...LOSER...but he's mine!
This is the money shot though...I wouldn't let him bring the wet body into Papa's house so he grabbed his sister's pink swim suit cover and silver flip flops...LMAO!! what a secure boy...in front of his school buddy too! Most impressive I think!!!
I love the drive way at my Dad's place...the tress are awesome!
The girls decorate the cake...
The finished design...apparently mine created it and her friend coloured it :)
The trail at the Park
This is just ONE of the SEVERAL varieties of super cool looking mushrooms that I took photos of...I really am not sure WHY...LOL
There were WAY too many pics to choose from...the 'Bat Cave' ROCKED!!! pun intended
And we even got to see some small brown furry bats...very cool!
I was horrified...this stuff was EVERYWHERE!!! what if one of the kids went home with it...not mine...the loaners...YIKES!
Beautiful relaxing water....
A beautiful day for horseback riding.
Very 'cheesey' mini golf setup...but the boys had a great time!
Well...if you made it this far...WOW!!!
Thanks for reading and sticking this out!
RUN RUN RUN!!
