Alrighty then...I have read a few blog entries today with this general theme...and I am not gonna lie....I LOVE it!
For me, it*s going to be all about doing what I need to do for myself, so I can truly call myself a RUNNER by midnight on New Years Eve.
I want to take weight out of this equation. " If you build it they will come" is my new mantra...(well, I can't ditch FLEXIBILITY just yet....but you get the idea here!)
By " If you build it they will come" .....I am referring to my fitness level vs my weight loss. I am not going to put a number on things from now til then. I suspect that getting myself fit enough to call myself a real runner should get me to my HAPPY goal of 150 by Christmas.
Now should I be nowhere near that main goal of mine, first I will CRY HUGE...then I shall sit back and re-assess the situation...oh, and probably cry a whole lot more, then kick myself in the ass for thinking this was a good idea in the first place, then cry some more...you get the picture here...
My original weight goal still lives on, I just will be approaching it from a different angle in the next 100 days
I have also decided to take the self imposed 1000 daily calorie deficit off the table. 500 will more than do the trick, I think. That being said I will not intentionally eat more, I just won't beat myself up for not making my 1000 calorie deficit anymore. I figure if I am eating decent and working towards the running goal, the weight will come off as it won't really have a choice in the matter.
Here's the goal breakdown:
39 days of ST
22 days of runs
15 days of yoga
13 days of B210K
7 days of races
4 days of massages
100 days in 2010!!! (oh please let me not have made a mistake in my math!!!)
I have also decided to allow myself a 10% margin for "error" or "missed" days. That allows me to maintain my "FLEXIBILITY"
No JEREMY...I didn't take this one either....it's a Google gem!
RUN RUN RUN!!
