Easy run 3 miles
12-ish AP

Actual:
Easy run 3 miles

2) 12:04 (151)
3) 12:02 (159)

There is nothing worse than a Virgo during that latter days of taper. I am a mental mess. I would like to thank all of my Spark running buddies that have put up with me this week especially today during my nonstop meltdown. Today's run was the final run before showtime and yes there were tears during songs. My neighborhood has come to expect anything from me LOL. I just want to feel normal again whatever the he!! that is.

I think what I am going to do Saturday is read through my training blogs and watch Spirit of the Marathon. That should get me all revved up for Sunday morning. I expect tears while watching Spirit though cuz well...I just do. I am starting to lay out my stuff for Sunday morning and that is so OCD of me LOL.

Well, this blog entry is a total rambling mess. I don't want to have to stop at the poop-a-lot during the race. I wonder if there are foods that are high in carbs and low in residue that I can eat Saturday. The official race clock does not have auto pause like my Garmin. I seriously don't want to stand in line during the race. Well crap.

Since this blog entry is obviously going nowhere I shall sign off. So until my Half marathon race report Sunday afternoon...

Toodles!

You are doing awesome! It is all coming together, and it's natural to be nervous. But you've prepared and trained well, so this is the logical next step.

Hang in there! We'll be waiting for the blog afterwards!

You're going to be just fine!

For a marathon, the recommendation is to avoid foods with insoluble fiber the day before the race, but foods with soluble fiber help keep things moving. I have a cup of coffee when I first get up -- that seems to work for me.

How do you keep your paces so consistent? I guess maybe that will come as I get into further training for my first half.

You are well prepared for this 13.1. Have fun!

Training Blogs and spirit of the marathon. I suggest popcorn. And possibly a tranquilizer. For Jim.

Just kidding. I'm looking forward to reading all about it this weekend. You're gonna kick some butt.
