Good Intentions

Ever had those days where you start off way motivated and eat a nice healthy breakfast and then it just goes downhill from there? I started off this morning with some nutrigrain waffles (actually yummy) and an egg. Went to my BF stepdad's house to shower and clean up as our shower is out of commission right now. Get done, go to Walgreens to get a script filled. I am there for like 1.5 hours, go long line! While i was there, I got hungry, and thirsty, and then made the mistake of walking down the candy isle.

Now, if things had gone as planned, i had 2 leftover slices of pizza budgeted in for tonight's dinner. The candy corn attacked me!! Just jumped straight off that shelf and into my hands. And then, the Pumpkin Reese Cup did the same thing!! Going into the store, I was not hungry, not thirsty, and had all intentions of staying on my meal plan.

I did get in all my water, only 1 of my fruit/veggies, and went a tad over carbs and calories for the day. I suppose I was lucky in the fact that I only ate half the bag of candy corn instead of the whole thing, and that I was fairly close to all my daily goals. Tomorrow is a new day!! I will call in scripts and then go pick them up so I don't have to wait and wander through the isles. Those candy isles just call my name, specially when it is TOM!!

On a side good note, I am feeling the squats I did the other day!! The good kind of sore is coming back to me I hope!

    I hate those candy isles(i have had the same problem)..those goodies can never be trusted to stay on the shelves....lololol...You can do it! emoticon
